VISION
I have always been a person who loves stories, especially the ones Jesus told. I became enamored by the style and truth in which his stories spoke (in a shocking wake-up sort of fashion) to his audience. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed studying them, teaching them, and finding the modern day equivalent that might carry the same message to folks listening now. There was one story where words were not enough.

If I were going to tell the story of (flat out) the hardest part of my life, I would want to convey to an audience the depth of despair and the delightful discovery of faith , hope, and love - not as a concept nor a principle, but with form and personality- living in me and attempting to answer how they got there.

Drama seemed like the best tool to use in this case. So I took a deep breath and gave my precious stories to a close friend and playwright. He returned scripts, each true to the story and highly creative. I know because of his gifts applied full force in my direction, that I enjoy telling these stories over and over.

I hope you see The View From Here, Snapshots, and Soul Fabric as a storyteller gone crazy in hopes of touching deeper, explaining better, and encouraging all who listen.
